Indian BJP Leader Dr. Vijay Jolly Expresses Solidarity with Nepal Amid Flood Tragedy
Kathmandu, Nepal: Senior Indian BJP leader and Global Bharat Brand Ambassador Dr. Vijay Jolly has expressed deep sorrow and solidarity with Nepal following the devastating floods and destruction affecting several parts of the country.
In a message addressed to the Government and people of Nepal, Jolly conveyed his deepest sorrow, heartfelt condolences and unwavering solidarity during what he described as an extremely difficult time for the country.
Jolly said the suffering faced by the Nepali people had deeply saddened him, emphasizing that India and Nepal share not only a geographical boundary but also centuries-old bonds of history, culture, faith, friendship and family.
“In this hour of grief and difficulty, my thoughts and prayers are with every affected family. I stand firmly in solidarity with the people of Nepal and pray for strength, courage, safety and a speedy recovery for all those facing this challenging situation,” Jolly said.
Expressing India’s support for Nepal, he added in Hindi: “नेपाल अकेला नहीं है। भारत के लोग अपने नेपाली भाइयों और बहनों के साथ मजबूती से खड़े हैं।”
(Nepal is not alone. The people of India stand firmly with their Nepali brothers and sisters.)
Jolly also prayed for strength, courage, peace, safety, hope and comfort for families affected by the disaster.
The message comes as Nepal continues rescue, relief and recovery efforts following the recent devastating floods and landslides.
